On January 11, 2022, the newly built 170t/h Coke Dry Quenching unit of Xiaoyi Juhui Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. started operation successfully. The EPC contract between Huatai Yongchuang (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd and Pengfei Group was signed on September 2020 and the project broke ground in late October of the same year. Despite various challenges such as limited site space, confined working areas, high construction difficulty, overlap between key construction routes and production routes, and challenging construction conditions due to proximity of CDQ proper to existing coke quenching tower, Huatai managed to complete the project one month ahead of schedule, thanks to the full support and cooperation from all relevant departments of the Company and Pengfei Group.

On January 29, 2022, the steam turbine generator successfully generated power and was connected to the grid on its first attempt, marking another milestone for a close cooperation between Huatai and Pengfei Group!
