On May 20, the 1.4 MTPA coke oven supporting coke dry quenching retrofit project for Shanxi Sunlight Coking Group Co., Ltd., for which Huatai served as the general contractor, successfully began coke production!

The EPC contract for this project was signed on November 17, 2020, and construction commenced on June 10, 2021. During the construction period, the project team overcame challenges such as limited site space, the pandemic, heavy rainfall, and rising material costs. Under the leadership of Huatai, the project team made coordinated plans and optimized the construction schedule. Ultimately, with the full cooperation of the client and the unremitting efforts of the construction team, the project was successfully completed on schedule.

The project has received high praise from the client’s leadership, and officials from Yuncheng City have visited the site on multiple occasions.
